Platform31 is a Dutch organisation which develops innovative solutions, policies and training programmes on housing and urban planning. I was asked to write a position paper for Platform31 on renovation and sustainability for the built environment in the Netherlands.
The seminar organised by the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation discussed the programmes on housing put in place over the last 20 years. All the programmes and projects were evaluated and presented during this seminar. I was the rapporteur.
Co-organising with Amira Osman, Faculty of Art, Design & Architecture of University of Johannesburg (UJ), a workshop on establishing a built environment forum where a disciplinary approach on policy and practice can be discussed.
